Arjun Mathur on his Emmy nomination and how he is celebrating it

Sharing is caring!

Arjun Mathur is a talented actor, won a nomination for Best Actor at the International Emmy Awards in the Best Performance by An Actor category for his portrayal of a homosexual in the Amazon Prime Original series, Made in Heaven. The results will be announced by the end of next month.

To celebrate the big achievement, the actor is leaving for a short trip on his birthday. To mark the special day, he is visiting a resort in Pavana Nagar, a small village near Lonavala.

Talking about it, he says:

I am humbled and still under a little shock about bagging a nomination at the International Emmys. I thought my birthday would be a good occasion to drive to Pavana to celebrate both. It is going to be a short trip and a much-needed break too. I am really looking forward to having a fun time.

Arjun proved his mettle with his first projects. He found the likes of filmmakers Mira Nair and Farhan Akhtar in the short films Migration and Positive, which earned him widespread critical acclaim. His film choices are a testament to the fact that he is a risk-taker who does not shy away from the unconventional path. Known as a millennial actor, he maintained the right balance between content and commerce.

Even before the concept of the web show gained momentum, Arjun was part of a youth-focused mini-series  titled Bring On The Night in 2012. Over the years, he has successfully forayed into films and OTT space.

On the work front, Arjun was recently seen in a web show Gone Game, which he shot during the ongoing epidemic at home. He received critical acclaim for his performance. We can’t wait for what he has for us.
