Roop Patel, a.k.a Kokila Modi from Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 has gained a cult fan post the viral ‘Rasode Mein Koun Tha‘ video by Yashraj Mukhate. Now, her comeback in the second installment of the show caused a lot of excitement among the fans. She recreated the viral scene again, where someone mixes eggs in Prasad while the protagonist Gehna leaves the kitchen. But, her tenure on the show seems to have been short since he is set to be out of the show, a month after its launch.
Speaking to Mumbai Mirror, Rupal said that it was a ‘pre-decided move’. Noting that they are parting on ‘amicable terms’, she says that the channel and producers knew about the month-long tenure from the beginning. She has been asked to wrap up the shoot for the show by the end of this week and her last episode is scheduled to air in mid-November.
Asked what her eight-year character arc would be like on the show, Rupal told the publication that She was sure that Kokilaben would get a ‘respectable and beautiful exit’ on the show.
Some time ago, a report by SpotboyE also claimed that along with Rupal, Devolina Bhattacharjee and Mohammad Nazim are also set to move on from the show. The publication quoted a source as saying that he was brought in for a short time and the show is set to focus on the protagonist, Gehna, played by Sneha Jain.
We are sure that all fans of the show are going to miss Kokila Modi, but we are sure that we will not wait to see what Rupal is upto for us in the coming times.
