50 Cent is facing a lot of criticism for not one, but two posts, which he shared with actor Michael K. Posted on Instagram after Williams’ death.
The 46-year-old actor first took to social media and shared a screenshot of a New York Post article announcing Michael’s death.
“Damn if you didn’t see Raising Kanan check it out,” 50 captioned the first post he put up. “that fentanyl is no joke, killing the clientele. RIP michael k. williams.”
The main issue with the first post is that 50 also included hashtags to promote their liquor brand. Fans asked the rapper to not use Michael’s death to promote his company.
50 deleted the post and then put up another post, which still received backlash.
The second post included a screencap of a 2018 article about a 50’s Instagram feud with Michael. He captioned the post, “don’t ever try to understand me i’m different. I don’t do all the fake love sh-t.”
One fan commented, “You didn’t have to even say anything tho…………like at all.” Someone else said, “Having some f–king respect and couth!!” Another fan wrote, “Why would u post this he’s deceased let him rest.”
