Simu Liu tells about a unique training to prepare for his role in Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
The 34-year-old Marvel star is set to appear on Celebrity Game Face this week and, in a sneak peek, opened up about his training for the film.
The episode also stars Wanda Sykes, Thomas Rhett, and host Kevin Hart, and all three have to guess which skill they have mastered.
“As some of you may or may not know, I was recently in a little Marvel movie,” Simu says. “So to prepare for that role, to be a Marvel superhero, I had to train in the fine art of something.”
While Kevin strikes the answer by hiding, or running, Wanda chooses parkour and Thomas anticipates stripping.
“The answer is, there was parkour in our movie but I actually already knew parkour from my spare time,” Simu confirmed. “That’s why, stripping!”
