John Abraham, an actor who has carved a niche for himself in the film industry all the years. From being a model, to now being an actor and producer with some great films to his name, he has come a long way.

Recently, after the unfortunate death of actor, Sushant Singh Rajput, the insider-outisder debate has been going on among the netizens. In a conversation with SpotboyE, John opened up about his thoughts on the debate, no matter how much everyone would have to do their job at the top and everyone has their own struggles in life.

Calling it terms coined by the ‘twitterati’, he said:

I don’t subscribe to such terms. This is your Twitter trending culture. I believe every individual, be it an insider or outsider, has his/ her own battles to fight. Whether you are gracious about it or bitter, it’s your decision, but you have to fight this battle. Every person has to prove a point, either you complain about it, or put your head down and bloody do your job. I am clear I have come here to do my job, and I will do it well.

Talking about his early days in the industry when he was a model, he says that there are people who tried to push him away and be bitter, but he says you can’t be bitter about it And you have to continue your work and work your way up.

Speaking about how he himself is an outsider in that regard, he says:

I create my own standards. Did I come from outside the industry and make it on my own? Yes. It’s a great example for people. Do I think people from the industry are gracious? They are damn bloody gracious. Are all of them gracious? Maybe not, but that exists everywhere in every industry.

At Work Front, John along with Aditi Rao Hydari, in his own production is gearing up for an untitled film starring Arjun Kapoor and Rakulpreet Singh. He also has Satyamev Jayate 2, Mumbai Saga, and attack in the pipeline.
