After an eight-month lockdown of Coronovirus, actor Ajay Devgn is all set to wear an Indian Air Force uniform, as he can resume work on the much-awaited film Bhuj: The Pride of India. According to a Midday report, the actor will join the 12-day schedule in November alongside Sanjay Dutt, Sharad Kelkar and Ammy Virk. It will see the cast putting in some action scenes and some dramatic scenes.
Reportedly, the source told the publication that Ajay and director Abhishek Dudhaiya are currently searching for a location for the shoot. The source was quoted as saying, “Given the prevailing scenario, the production team is hunting for a location that meets their safety demands. The final schedule is likely to kick off post-Diwali. Sanjay, who is currently with his family in Dubai, will fly down after the festival to join the proceedings. After Ajay finishes his portions by the month-end, Sonakshi Sinha, Nora Fatehi and the rest of the cast will be called for the patchwork.”
Bhuj is set during the Indo-Pakistan War of 1971, in which Ajay Devgan will be seen playing the role of IAF Squadron Leader Vijay Karnik, who reconstructed the Air Force airbase at Bhuj with the help of Sundaraje Jetha Madharpa and 300 local women. Confirming the shooting of the pending schedule, filmmaker Abhishek Dhundaiya said, “We are looking forward to going back on the set, and have all the safety measures in place.“
