Audiences recently saw the release of the Malayalam thriller yam Drishyam 2, with superstar Mohanlal in the lead. The Telugu version of the film has already been announced by filmmaker Jeethu Joseph and now it is time for all Bollywood lovers to get some good news. According to a TOI report, the Hindi version of Drishyam 2 will be made soon and will feature Ajay Devgn and Tabu in the lead roles.
Inexplicably, the actors also starred in the first part of the film Drishyam along with Shriya Saran. The film was played by the late director Nishikant Kamat. The first part was a box-office hit.
The Times of India report states that Ajay and Tabu have given the script their nod while the rest of the cast is yet to be decided. The report also stated that the paperwork to purchase the rights from the original manufacturer is almost complete.
The news portal further said that modality, which includes shooting locations and budgets, is being worked on. Meanwhile, Drishyam 2 is scheduled to go on floors by the third quarter this year. It will reportedly be released next year.
