Parineeti Chopra’s much anticipated sports biopic, Saina has got a release date. The film is all set to hit theaters on the 24th of 2019. Directed by Amol Gupte, the film is proudced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.
The sports biopic brings on the silver screen the journey of Saina Nehwal, played by Parineeti Chopra, one of the country’s greatest athletes. The actress has undergone extensive training for the film.
The film stars Eshan Naqvi alongside Parineet and Manav Kaul as her coach. Parineeti took to her social media to share a teaser and the film’s poster.
Earlier, actress Shraddha Kapoor was to play the role of ace badminton player. She also shot parts for this. However, the actress had to leave the project midway due to her date issues. The film was initially set to drop in September 2020, but was delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
