Akshay Kumar is all set to start shooting for his next film Ram Setu. The actor flew to Ayodhya with his co-stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Jacqueline Fernandez for the shoot. The three were spotted ahead of their private flight at Kalina Airport in Mumbai on Thursday.
The three posed for the paparazzi, as they prepared to go to Ayodhya for the Mahurat shot. Akshay looks stylish in a black shirt and gray trousers. Nushrratt opted for a white maxi dress with a vibrant shrug and silver jewelry, while Jacqueline was seen donning a white suit.
Akshay took to his Twitter to share a picture with his co-stars. His tweet read, “A special film, a special start…Team #RamSetu off to Ayodhya for the mahurat shot. And so the journey begins. Need special wishes from all you guys“.
Akshay had announced ‘Ram Setu’ on Diwali last year along with the poster of the movie featuring him as a traveller. Sharing the poster, he tweeted, “This Deepawali, let us endeavour to keep alive the ideals of Ram in the consciousness of all Bharatiyas by building a bridge(setu) that will connect generations to come. Taking this mammoth task ahead, here is our humble attempt – #RamSetu.”
Directed by Abhishek Sharma, Ram Setu will be produced by Akshay Kumar’s Cape of Good Films, Abundantia Entertainment, Lyca Productions and Amazon Prime Video.
