Based on the glory of her fourth National Award win, actress Kangana Ranaut is all set to offer another powerful performance with her much awaited film Thalaivi. The trailer of ‘Thalaivi’, gives a glimpse into the life of the legendary Jayalalithaa, unfolds untold storylines across many stages of the politician’s life.
Having been a steady wave since the film’s announcement, ‘Thalaivi’ has proved to be one of the most awaited projects of recent times. Many of Kangana’s looks as MGR as Jayalalithaa and Arvind Swamy have enthralled the audience to bring the past alive due to the fascinating glimpse of its form.
Known for her brilliant performance, Kangana Ranaut won her fourth National Award on Monday. Raising the excitement level and addressing the audience’s eagerness for the film, the makers launched the trailer of ‘Thalaivi’ on Rani Kangana’s birthday.
The High Age drama depicts several phases of Jayalalithaa, which provides insight into a struggle in the rise of Tamil cinema as well as a journey to emerge as a revolutionary leader that changed the face of Tamil Nadu politics.

Thalaivi, presented by Vibri Motion pictures, Karma Media Entertainment and Zee Studios in association with Gothic Entertainment and Sprint films , has been produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shailesh R Singh and co-produced by Hitesh Thakkar and Thirumal Reddy. The film is set to hit theaters across the world in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu by Zee Studios on 23 April 2021.
