Shilpa Shetty Says It Was Difficult To Make Viaan Not Feel Ignored After Samisha’s Birth #ParentingWins

Sharing is caring!

Shilpa Shetty Kundra is a woman capable of all this! Whether it be as a mother, wife and daughter fulfilling work commitments or maintaining a super healthy lifestyle, there is so much that she does and it all feels so comfortable.

She also faces challenges that all mothers face when they have more than one child. Shilpa, who is already the mother of 9-year-old Viaan Raj Kundra, welcomed her and Raj Kundra’s second child, Samisha Shetty Kundra, through surrogacy in March last year. Speaking about making sure she cares for her newborn and her older son, she says it was a challenge.

Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Shilpa said:

I had a baby, I had my daughter Samisha and it gave me the time with both my kids. It was very hard because my son is nine and is doing virtual school, to be a hands-on parent and with a newborn not making him feel like he is ignored because he has always been an apple of our eyes so that was a little difficult but other than that, it was not so bad… I always believe in staying positive.

She also went on to add:

Yoga helped me, and honestly, it wasn’t so bad for me. It really gave me the much-needed time which I was craving. I am dabbling in a lot of spheres and a lot of other things.

On the work front, she is set to make a power-packed comeback in Nikamma alongside Abhimanyu Dasani and Shirley Setia. She is also starring in Hungama 2 with Meezaan Jaffery, Paresh Rawal and Pranita Subhash. In the interview, she also shared that she is ready to recreate her iconic ‘Churake Dil Mera‘ with Meezan.
