Sam Maneckshaw biopic starring Vicky Kaushal has been in the news ever since the first look of the movie based on the ‘Field Marshal of India’ was unveiled on social media. And today, on the occasion of his birth anniversary, an official title announcement video was shared by Vicky on his social media. Starring Vicky as Field Marshall, the film is titled ‘Sam Bahadur’.
The title was announced as a video with a voiceover by legendary lyricist, Gulzar. Taking to his Instagram, Vicky shared the video and wrote, “The man. The legend. The brave heart. Our Samबहादुर…On the birth anniversary of Field Marshal #SamManekshaw, his story has found its name. #SamBahadur.”
The film is directed by Meghna Gulzar and backed by Ronnie Screwvala. When Vicky shared his look as Sam Manekshaw, he wrote “I feel honoured, emotional and proud of getting a chance to unfold the journey of this fearless patriot, the swashbuckling general, the first Field Marshal of India- SAM MANEKSHAW.
