Mrunal Thakur to star opposite as a cop with Aditya Roy Kapur in ‘Thadam’ remake

Sharing is caring!

Actress Mrunal Thakur has always been impressive with her acting, be it in Toofan or Super 30. I love watching her on-screen and looks like the actress has a lot to offer in the future as well. However, her most exciting part seems to be in the Hindi remake of the hit Tamil film Thadam. Mrunal will be seen as a cop opposite Aditya Roy Kapur in the film.

And if reports are to be believed, Mrunal will be face-to-face with the Malang actor in the film. The Toofan actress also shared her excitement about the same on Instagram. This is the first time that Mrunal Thakur will be seen playing the role of a strong-headed cop in the Vardhan Ketkar-directed thriller. The yet-to-be-titled film produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios will go on floors in October this year.

Talking about the film Mrunal says,

When I heard the story of the film, I instantly knew that I needed to be a part of this film. My character is very intriguing and playing a cop has been on my checklist. This will be a very distinct role from all the characters I have played till now and I am looking forward to audiences watching this one.

I am sure Mrinal will play the role of a cop in this film. Apart from this thriller, Mrunal will also be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor in Jersey, Aankh Micholi, Pippa and another Telugu film in her kitty.
