Ayushmann Khurrana has given a big update for his fans. It was already announced that the actor will star in Anubhav Sinha’s directorial venture Anekh and fans were waiting for an update from the makers. So here’s some good news! This project has now got its release date. As per Ayushmann’s post on his social media handle, the film is scheduled to release on March 31, 2022.

Ayushmann captioned the post saying:
Thrilled to reunite with Anubhav Sinha for a character that pushed me out of my comfort zone & with Bhushan Kumar as a support system, Anek will usher in a different language of cinema. Mark the date for this socio-political thriller: 31.03.2022.
It is being said that Many will be set in the north-eastern part of India and will be a spy-thriller.
Speaking on Anek, Ayushmann said earlier:
It’s only once in a while that an actor comes across a story that makes him jump out of his comfort zone. While I have always backed novel stories, ‘Anek’ pushed me to perform with a renewed zest. It’s the kind of script that drives a person to give it your all. I am so proud that we’ve made a film like this and even more fortunate that I got the chance to headline it.
Meanwhile, Anubhav said:
It was a challenging film to write and a difficult one to make. We shot it in rough terrain but what makes it special is that the takeaway was so gratifying. It was a delight to work with Ayushmann again who with his depiction of Joshua breathed life into the story.

Jointly produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and Anubhav’s Banaras MediaWorks, it will see Ayushmann in another unique role and I am sure he will excel in his work. Apart from many, Ayushmann also has Abhishek Kapoor’s Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. The actor will be sharing screen space with the beautiful Vaani Kapoor and the film is slated to release on December 10, 2021. Looks like Ayushmann is all set to make sure that his fans see him in versatile roles.
