Hulu is getting ready to raise its prices!
According to THR, the streaming service announced on Tuesday morning (September 7) that it will now cost slightly more at the ad-supported and ad-free tiers.
While Hulu is raising its prices, it’s only a small increase. The ad-supported level will increase from $5.99 to $6.99, and the ad-free level will increase from $11.99 to $12.99. Live TV and Disney bundle prices will remain the same for the time being.
THR also reports that Hulu has “42.8 million subscribers, with 39.1 million subscribed to its SVOD subscription and 3.7 million subscribed to its live TV and SVOD plan.”
The new price hike will be effective from October 8.
The news comes nine months after Disney+ announced it was increasing their price points as well.
