Monica Lewinsky is speaking out.
The 48-year-old appeared on the TODAY show on Tuesday (September 7) to discuss her new FX limited series Impeachment: American Crime Story, which she executive produced.
During the interview, Monica looked at her time as a White House intern and how she felt about her life being dramatic.
“I’m nervous for people to see some of the worst moments of my life and a lot of behavior that I regret. If you remember your 20s not that long ago, it’s pretty cringe-worthy,” she said with a laugh.
When asked if she thinks former President Clinton own her an apology, she replied: “I think there was a long period before my life changed in the last six or seven years where I felt a lot in terms of there not being this resolution. I’m very grateful that I don’t have that feeling anymore.”
“And I don’t need it,” she added. “He should wanna apologize, in the same way that I wanna apologize any chance I get to people that I’ve hurt and my actions have hurt.”
