Jessica Chastain wore a classic black gown to the premiere of her new film The Forgiven during the 2021 Toronto International Film Festival at Roy Thomson Hall on September 11, 2021 in Canada.
The 44-year-old actress graced the red carpet with her co-stars Ismael Kanater, and Mourad Zaoui, joined by director John Michael McDonagh, and producers Carter Stanton, Trevor Matthews, Elizabeth Eves and Nick Gordon.
The Forgiven takes place over a weekend in Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains, and explores the reverberations of a random accident on the lives of both local Muslims and Western visitors to a house party in a lavish villa.
Ralph Fiennes, Rebecca Hall, and Caleb Landry Jones also star in the film.
