Mick Brigden, the longtime tour manager for The Rolling Stones, has tragically passed away at the age of 73.
Brigden, who also worked with Bob Dylan and solo guitarist Joe Satriani, died on September 5 following an accident at hishome near Santa Rosa, California.
His wife, Julia Dreyer Brigden, told The Press Democrat that Mick was helping to dig a grave for their family pet dog. An accident occurred and he was taken to a hospital in Santa Rosa, where he died.
Satriani paid homage to Mick saying, ““Mick Brigden was a force to reckon with. He was just such an original. I hesitate to say he was an old school rock ‘n’ roll manager because it doesn’t do him justice. He put an emphasis on doing things right and doing right by people.”
Our thoughts and condolences go out to the loved ones of Mick during this difficult time.
