A source is telling what happened between Conor McGregor and Machine Gun Kelly on the red carpet at the VMAs.
In case you missed the news, Connor was seen igniting a fight with MGK while walking the carpet at the 2021 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday night (Sept. 12) at Barclays Center in New York City.
A source explained to People that Connor asked to take a picture with MGK and the singer’s team reportedly denied the request.
“Connor went over it a little bit,” the source told the outlet. People noted that “the fighter dropped his cane, then retrieved it and began swinging it in Kelly‘s direction.”
Connor’s reps were asked to comment on the situation, but they would not discuss the controversy. The representative noted that Machine Gun Kelly “joined Connor’s last fight.”
The rep also added, “Conor and Dee are in their seats enjoying the show. Conor appreciates all his fans.”
