Kaia Gerber looks like a classic movie star in her black gown at the 2021 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City on Monday (September 13).
The 20-year-old model is making her debut at the prestigious fashion event, as she was bound by an age restriction rule over the years.
Kaya chose a gorgeous black dress from Oscar de la Renta, which pays homage to classic movie stars of the 1950s and 1960s. She accessorised with Omega jewels and a watch.
The annual Costume Institute gala is the fashion world’s equivalent of the Oscars and the event is usually held on the first Monday of May, but was postponed to September 2021 due to the pandemic. This year’s theme is “In America” and next year’s Met Gala will feature a two-part performance, beginning with the second part.
