Seth Rogen is calling out the Emmys.
The 39-year-old actor took the stage to present at the 2021 Emmy Awards at The Event Deck at LA Live in Los Angeles on Sunday (September 19) after he revealed a bit about the show’s location.
“Let me start by saying there is way too many of us in this little room. What are we doing? They said this was outdoors,” Seth jokingly said, referring to the Emmy organizers claiming the show would take place outside. He continued, “It’s not! They lied to us! We’re in a hermetically sealed tent right now. I would not have come to this.”
The COVID-19 pandemic is still ongoing and the rate of spread may be high for large crowds.
In August 2021 it was announced that the show would be out for security reasons and that the number of guests was being limited.
