While performing at the 2021 Riot Festival in Chicago on Sunday (September 19), the 31-year-old entertainer mocked the heavy metal band for their on-stage outfits.
Machine Gun Kelly took a break from performing during the concert to call out Slipknot who was performing on the neighboring stage.
“Turn the lights up. Let me see who chose to be here instead of with all the old, weird dudes with masks,” Machine Gun Kelly said via The Chicago Sun Times.
“Hey, you want to know what I’m really happy that I’m not doing?” Machine Gun Kelly added. “Being 50 years old wearing a f–king weird mask on a f–king stage, talking s–t.”
Machine Gun Kelly took to Twitter on Monday (September 20) to address her beef with Slipknot singer Corey Taylor.
“Corey did a verse for a song on tickets to my downfall album, it was f–king terrible, so i didn’t use it,” Machine Gun Kelly tweeted. “He got mad about it, and talked s–t to a magazine about the same album he was almost on. yalls stories are all off. just admit he’s bitter.”
At the moment, Slipknot has not responded to Machine Gun Kelly’s dig.
