The 2021 Emmy Awards ratings are officially out!
According to Nielsen, the Sunday Night Awards ceremony hosted by Cedric the Entertainer had an average of about 7.4 million viewers.
The ratings for the 2021 ceremony are up 16% from last year’s Emmys’ 6.36 million viewers.
The 2021 show is the most up for awards since the 10.2 million watched on NBC in 2018.
With Apple TV+’s Ted Lasso, HBO Max’s Hacks and Easttown’s Mare, and Netflix’s The Crown and The Queen’s Gambit, the streaming services took the show big, winning many accolades.
