A 2021 Emmy Awards moment involving Gillian Anderson, one of the night’s winners, is going viral about how she handled a question she asked.
In case you didn’t know, Gillian won Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for playing Margaret Thatcher on Netflix’s The Crown.
During a press conference after winning, Gillian was asked if she had talked to [Thatcher] about [the] role at all.”
Well, the former Prime Minister passed away in 2013 at the age of 87.
Gillian did not point out the reporter’s fault. Instead, he replied, “Well, I have not spoken to Margaret.”
