Ryan Reynolds definitely knows about Gerard Butler!
The 44-year-old Free Guy star reacted to the 51-year-old Greenland actor’s recent comments on Tuesday (September 21).
In case you didn’t know, Gerard was asked about comparing Gamer to Ryan’s current movie, Free Guy.
“I actually don’t know what Free Guy is,” he said at first, adding “Oh s–t is it… I don’t watch Ryan Reynolds movies.”
Now, Ryan Reynolds is reacting on social media—and revealing a donation to the NAACP Legal Defense Fund and the ACLU.
“Can you believe Gerard Butler doesn’t know what Free Guy is? Also, can you believe that the challenges to democracy have never been greater and that Blake [Lively] and I will match your contributions to the @aclu_nationwide and @naacp_ldf? *Order of these questions optimized for the Internet, NOT importance,” he amusingly captioned the post, which showed the stories side-by-side on Twitter.
The Legal Defense Fund announced that the couple is matching all gifts of up to $1 million, which are split between the LDF and the ACLU, as of October 8.
