The two play Molly and Sebastian, respectively, and in the clip, she is enamored with him as he flirts and invites her to hang out elsewhere.
This Is the Year marks David’s directorial debut, and he co-wrote the script with Sienna Aquillini, Pepe Portillo and Bug Hall, who are also in the film. David Wizards of Waverly Place co-star Selena Gomez is an executive producer.
Here’s a synopsis: In a last-ditch effort to win over the girl of his dreams, a nerdy high school senior and his best friends embark on a road trip to see their favorite band at the biggest music festival of the year, only to discover true love in the most unexpected place.
Starring Lorenzo Henrie, Gregg Sulkin, Alyssa Jirrels, Jake Short and Jeff Garlin, This Is the Year will be in theaters and on demand this Friday (September 24)!
