Bachelor Party actress and ’80s music video icon Tawny Kitten’s cause of death has been revealed five months after she passed away.
The mother of two, who was just 59 years old, died from cardiomyopathy, the most common type of heart disease, according to the Orange County coroner’s office Wednesday via TMZ. However, many other contributing factors led to this untimely death, including clogged arteries, antidepressants, sedatives, pain relievers, and opioids. This is a very sad thing…
Tony’s brother Jordan Kitten told the outlet over the summer that he was finding it difficult to mourn the loss of his father, who passed away less than a month ago. At the time, she assumed that she died of a broken heart, and this revelation seems to suggest that it may be true. Even though she was not diagnosed with broken heart syndrome, the damage may have been too much for her heart to bear.
In case you missed it, the ex-wife of baseball player Chuck Finlay was found dead at her Newport Beach home on May 7. Police told his family that there was no sign to believe that he had taken his own life. Also, no alcohol, drugs or pills were at the scene, which was a good thing to hear as she had been fighting a protracted battle with substance abuse for years. (Sadly, it seems that drugs still played a part in his death.)
Keaton rose to fame while starring in scenes for Whitesnake, I’m Going Again, Still Night, Is This Love, and The Deeper the Love. She also had a successful film career with roles in The Perils of Gwendoline, After Midnight and White Hot before moving on to reality TV. You can see her in her most famous music video (below).
It is unfortunate to learn that his life was cut short by a natural and normal heart condition. We will continue to keep his family and friends in our thoughts as they process this new insight.
