Penn Badgley is not a fan of Dan Humphrey.
The 34-year-old actor, while talking about the latest season of Netflix’s You, opened up about his previous role as Dan on Gossip Girl and revealed the one thing he thinks Dan did the worst – And many fans would agree with him.
Speaking to Esquire, Penn quickly explained that his younger sister, Jenny Humphrey, was the worst thing ever.
“He outed his sister losing her virginity,” he said, without any real hesitation. “These storylines are twisted. This is villainous.”
He also nearly opened a scene, which he found particularly difficult to film.
“The last one where I had to say, ‘Gossip Girl is dead,’ and I could not keep it together,” Penn revealed. “Something came over me and I just couldn’t say it. I kept laughing. I couldn’t stop. I was sweating. I was having an out-of-body experience.”
Dan wasn’t even supposed to be the original Gossip Girl.
