Hailey Bieber has shared a statement in response to the tragic accident on the set of her uncle Alec Baldwin’s film.
Alec was handling a prop gun on the set of Rust when he misfired cinematographer Halyana Hutchins and director Joel Souza.
Helena died due to injuries and Joel thankfully has already been released from the hospital.
Hailey took to her Instagram Stories on Friday afternoon (October 22) to offer her condolences to the victims of the tragic accident.
“Sending all my love to the family of Halyna Hutchins. This is a truly unimaginable and devastating tragedy,” she wrote. “My thoughts are also with Joel Souza as he recovers. I am absolutely heartbroken for everyone involved.”
