Ireland Baldwin speaks about the tragic accident on the set of her father, Alec Baldwin’s new film, Rust.
In case you haven’t heard yet, Alec was using a prop gun on Rust’s set and it misfired, killing the film’s cinematographer Halina Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza.
“My love and support go to Halyna Hutchins’ family and friends. Sending healing thoughts to Joel Souza. And wishing I could hug my dad extra tight today,” Ireland wrote in a statement on her Instagram Stories on Friday (October 22).
Alec’s brother Stephen Baldwin is among others who have spoken out about the accidental shooting on set.
