Stephen Baldwin is praying after his brother Alec is involved in a tragic accident on the set of his new film, Rust.
On Thursday (October 21), it was reported that Alec discharged a prop gun that accidentally killed the film’s cinematographer Halyana Hutchins and seriously injured director Joel Souza.
Stephen reacted to the news in an Instagram post shared early Friday morning.
“Asking for prayers tonight friends not much can be said other than please pray for all involved in the tragic in the wake of this tragic accident thank you 🙏🏻,” the actor wrote in the post.
He captioned the image with a purple cross emoji and added the hashtag “#Psalm91″ as well.
The producers of Rust announced last night that production of the film would be put on hold for an “indefinite time” in the wake of Halina’s death.
Hours before the tragic accident, Alec shared the first photo from the film’s set in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
